Conventions of Thriller Mise-en-scene: Busy cities, where lots of actions take place, there is diversity and high population. This makes the location a ‘normal’ place where audience may relate to. Costumes usually casual so the antagonists can fit in with the rest of people. Props are usually in form of clues, murder weapons or guns used by agents in Thriller films. Pace: The pace normally quick when action is taking place. However when protagonist is trying to work out what to do, the end scene is open to much interpretation .
