Ideas can be defined as a new way of looking at
something, as a solution to some problem or a new
approach.
An innovation can be another word for an idea OR
anything / product that is new.
Example – Invention of wheel can be seen as an
innovation which brought about lasting changes.

Renaissance means rebirth comes from the French word
‘RENAITRE’.
It was a general re-awakening, a revival or rebirth of
learning
Period between approx. 1400 – 1600 CE
Renaissance was named by Swiss historian named
JACOB BURCKHARDT
Rediscovery of ancient learning from the Roman and
Greek civilizations.
It upheld the dignity of the human being and renewed
the sense of nationalism
It is also the time for increased trade among the
countries – period of exploration
