• gavaKsh is an NGO based in New Delhi
working towards:
• Providing holistic learning experience and
education to children with lesser means
• To create a world where the children are
happy and safe
• To bring in sustainable and impactful
changes in the lives of children, who have
been deprived of what they deserve
Founding Vision
• gavaKsh was founded by
Ms. Archana Srivastava in the
year 2014
• Motto: Creating a Difference by
working at the Grass Root level
• Purpose: Inspire and Initiate
Radical Solutions
• Idea: an effective education has
the seeds of transforming lives
gavaKsh at Present
• 60 registered students
• Team of 30+ dedicated Volunteers
• Structured Course Module for different Age
Groups
• Certification Program for young volunteers
• Dependent on donations from individuals and
few organizations that believe in our vision
• Operational out of a 300 sqft office cum
classroom
• Located near the slum area of ITO, New Delhi
Team/Volunteer Approach
• Young members as volunteers who bring
fresh lease of learning methodologies to
children
• Passionate volunteers well-monitored by
key members to enable structured growth
and avoid randomness in operations
• Well-documented approach for maximum
output
What is Education at gavaKsh?
gavaKsh strongly believes Interaction as one of the
strongest form of education.
Sharing of ideas, skills, values, beliefs and habits with
group of children is an unparalleled way of imparting
significant life lessons.
We employ storytelling, discussion, teaching, training of
skills (dance, music, sports, art & craft, games) and
workshops as means to transform the lives of gavaKsh
kids.

music lessons, sessions on moral
values & character building
• Continuous evolvement and addition of
new tools for nurturing the talent
