2. Parts Of Pneumatic Bicycle
• Bicycle
• Crank With Piston
• Double Acting Cylinder
• Limit Switch
• Solenoid Valve
• Air Compressor Cylinder
• Cycle Pump
3. Parts Of Pneumatic Bicycle
1.Bicycle
Parts of bicycle
• Cycle chases
• Rear axle
• Tyre
• Cycle chain
• Cycle sprocket

2. Crank with piston
• Crank with piston consist
of a shaft which has
bearing , chain ring,
crank, connecting rod,
piston head.
• While moving the piston
head the crank will rotate.
• The chain ring is
connected with the rear
axle.

3. Double acting cylinder
• Double acting cylinder
is connected with
piston head to transfer
the reciprocating
movement to the crank
case.

4.Limit switch
• A limit switch is an
electromechanical device
that may be directly
mechanically operated by
the motion of the operating
lever..
• It is used to control the
length of the stroke of the
piston.

5.Solenoid Valve
• A solenoid valve is an
electromechanical device
in which the solenoid uses
an electric current to
generate a magnetic field
and thereby operate a
mechanism which
regulates the opening of air
flow in a valve.

6. Air Compressor Cylinder
• An air compressor is a
device that converts
power into potential
energy stored in
pressurized air.
• This compressed air
is used as fuel.
9. Construction of Pneumatic
Bicycle
•The rear axle of the cycle is
connected to the crank case
with piston through cycle chain
•Then the piston head is joined
with double acting cylinder.
•The compressor is connected
to Solenoid Valve and then to
double acting cylinder.
•The limit switch is placed in
front of double acting cylinder.
10. Working of Pneumatic Bicycle
• The air from the compressor is transferred to
Solenoid valve, then it will send the air to double
acting cylinder.
• So it will move in reciprocating motion, so the
piston will gets the reciprocating movement .
• Then the crank will rotate and through chain
mechanism the rear axle will rotate.
• Then the cycle will starts to run.
