• Crank with piston consist
of a shaft which has
bearing , chain ring,
crank, connecting rod,
piston head.
• While moving the piston
head the crank will rotate.
• The chain ring is
connected with the rear
axle.

•The rear axle of the cycle is
connected to the crank case
with piston through cycle chain
•Then the piston head is joined
with double acting cylinder.
•The compressor is connected
to Solenoid Valve and then to
double acting cylinder.
•The limit switch is placed in
front of double acting cylinder.

10. Working of Pneumatic Bicycle
• The air from the compressor is transferred to
Solenoid valve, then it will send the air to double
acting cylinder.
• So it will move in reciprocating motion, so the
piston will gets the reciprocating movement .
• Then the crank will rotate and through chain
mechanism the rear axle will rotate.
• Then the cycle will starts to run.
