2. First look
This first screen shot if the first look in to the title sequence of inception.
Straight away your prompted with the big name of the Warner Bros as
well as a light background with what it appears to look like ink floating
down the screen.
3. Creator
Following form the first screen shot this this screen shot shows a
different arrangement in the text positioned at the right of the screen
instead of the bottom left as well as introducing the creator of the film,
Christopher Nolan who produces great films. I have realized a common
theme with the darkness of the ink on the screen, giving me the
impression that this film has a very dark tone to the background of it, as
it is a thriller as well.
4. Music
Next introduced in the title sequence is the music with a slight change in
the background but still with the theme of the dark tone which I have
seen as a common addition in any thriller title opening sequence. The
arrangement of text has move to the center of the screen which is maybe
suggesting that importance of the people to follow in the title sequence.
5. Photography
Next in the title sequence to be introduced is the photographer for the
production with a big clear shot of a construction shaft of a bridge
deconstructed in different ways creating an ‘Inception’.
6. Characters
After the Production team, Producer, Music & Photographer the
characters follow leading with the main actor Leonardo Dicaprio who is
well established. The background is very simple still with the theme of
using black dark tone in the back The following images are of other
actors in this production they include big names such as Michael Caine
and Tom Hardy.
14. Michael Caine
Each of the screen shots which was introducing each actor has had a
different background with an illusion or inspection. Which is setting up
the audience for illusions to be played out through the movie.
15. The Title
Right at the end of the title sequence the title appears centered in the
screen in bold white writing with a black background still following the
dark tone theme throughout. There is an addition to this background
with a smoked out white face in the background which fades way as the
title sequence ends
