 This role I supported processes across the different HP entities with internal employees and HR
Stakeholder around the globe (Americas, EMEA & APAC).
 As Head of Hire to Retire Shared Services project, I was charged with leading & driving strategy,
focusing on employee development and providing employee service, for HR Shared Services
Organization.
 Responsible forsettingupnewteamsaswell aseffectivelystrengtheningthe core of the existing
global HR teams.
 Role wasdirectlysupportedbyfiveManagerswhoare responsible forspecificsegments& region
of the SharedServicesprocessesandwillpartnercloselywiththe SharedServicesOperationsteam
on SLA’s, metrics, transition of processes & QA.
 Providedinitial consultingservicesbyactingas subjectmatterexpertandleadingHPthroughthe
entire processdesigntoadministercompany’sH2RServicesbasedoutof 2 locationChennai and
Bangalore.
 Formalizedandimplementastandardoperatingmodelincludingservicelevel agreements,project
management methodologies, customer satisfaction surveys, and case management, and
communicates action plans the organization to smoothly transition HR services to a centralized
model.
 Workedon all projectphasesincludingrightshoringof processesintosharedservice bymapping
looking statutory & regulatory requirements.
 Executed strategic projects and serve as single point of accountability for decision making and
escalations.
 Ensures service levels are met and/or exceeded and all operational metrics are trending in the
right direction, addresses and resolves issues and determines if changes are required to ensure
metrics and SLAs are met.
 Reviewsresource use(people,process,technology)onacontinuousbasistoensureprocessesare
standardizedandconsistentlyfollowed,andresourcesare fullyutilized, well-trained,andmeeting
SLAs;assessesandrecommendschangestotechnologiestoensure optimizationof the HRservice
deliverymodel,includingstrategicinvestmentstoautomate manual activities,upgrade systems,
utilize outsource services, etc., to complement internal technology and expertise; drives the
definitionof userrequirementsfortools,systemsand reports to monitor and improve services.
 Global SharedServicefunctionprovidesaservicetomajorityof the global HRteamsandprocesses
including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits,
Learning& Development,Legal andotherfunctionsto establishsuperioremployee relationships
andestablishservicelevelagreements.BeforeIleftthe assignmentstrength of theteamwas170+
employees with a potential to grow to 1000+ associates to serve 3,00,000 employee base
(contingent and permanent employees)
 Providedfunctional consultingforsystemsdevelopmentlifecycleforPeopleSoftBase,Oracleand
Taleo.
 AssistGlobal HRinfullyintegratedPeopleSoftHRMSsystemtosupportall transactional workout
of India share service center i.e. AMS, EMEA and APAC.
 Partner cross functionally with key stakeholders within and outside of HR
 Servedas a HR thoughtleaderand technical resource forthe department,guidesandinfluences
people, processes, and resources to support the best interests of the business. Builds trusting
relationships with employees and internal customers
 Responsible for managing all operational elements of recruitment for their local reporting layer
(job description, going to market, profile screening etc.) in line with the recruitment strategy
 Been a role model to the team and continue to instill a strong work ethic culture and
professionalism within the Shared Services Team
 Sponsor,initiate andensureexecutionof continuousimprovementand/orre-engineeringprojects
to assure progressive service
 Assistthe Director Global SharedServicesincommunicatingthe strategy,objectives,resultsand
statusof HR Shared Services programs/initiatives to senior management and key stakeholders
 Report progress to GBS stakeholders and country HR
