3. Under Exposed
To take this picture, I placed the model on a flat
surface and using my camera, I turned the
brightness down to capture a low exposure. The
figure iv visible, but because of the low
exposure, not much can be seen.
4. Low Key lighting
Using almost natural lighting, I found
an angle where lighting was blocked,
and I turned down a little on my
camera, not too much for it to be under
exposed but enough for extra effect.
5. Standard Setting
To do this, I took this shot in natural
lighting and no effects on the camera
were used. This shows it is a natural,
standard setting.
6. High Key lighting
For a high key lighting photo, I used a
mini LED light, to give the same effect
as a studio light. This lighting is in
between the effect of a standard setting
and an over exposed one. It gives a
clear view of the figure.
7. Over Exposed
To produce an over exposed photo, I still
placed the figure and used a mini led light, for
an extra lighting effect. I then used my
camera and focused on the darker colours of
the figure, his shirt, and increased the
brightness, to capture an over exposed effect.
8. Shallow focus
Using my camera, I focused
on the background to show a
bit of a blur on the figure.
9. Deep focus
Like the opposite of shallow
focus, I used my camera to focus
on the figure, leaving the
background a blur. This has an
effect that all viewers should
focus on the figure rather than
what's going on in the
background.
10. Monochrome
Using the monochrome filter
on my camera, I took this
picture using a mini led light
from the ground facing
upward. This gives the effect
of a shadow appearing behind
the figure, which I think fits
his demeanour.
11. Back Lighting
I placed a mini LED light, behind the
figure so that the light could bounce
against the wall. This created a back
lighting effect.
12. Chiaroscuro
To create this chiaroscuro
effect, I placed the light on
the left of the figures face in
a naturally dark lighting
area. I then decreased the
brightness and exposure on
the opposite side to
juxtapose both sides and
creating an effect where
lighting bleeds across the
face.
