4. ISO 9001 – This certification is related to the quality of process
where cleanliness of production units and departments, standards
defined for employees is to be maintained, for example
- wearing of masks when
working in chemical treatment
units
- taking hearing protections in
production units, especially in
weaving department
- wearing of gloves while handling
of material, machineries and other
heavy weights

5.  TS 16949 – This certification was given to RIL for its standard
quality maintenance in automotive service
 BSC – Britain Safety Control has given 5 STAR rating to RIL
for the quality and safety maintained by the industry with
the machines
Machines in RIL, Textile Division are 30 years old and still
working efficiently

6.  This certification is given for the standards pertaining to
Environment and its greater goods
 The Industry has taken following steps to employ the
standards related to ISO 14001 and ISO 18001:
- Made an ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) for the processing
of waste contaminated water
- There is a garden and a pond with fishes that cleans that
waste water
- The water from pond is used for watering of plants and
washing of gray unprocessed fabric

7. - RIL has two factory power plants that supplies the
electricity to the whole industry
- Government also provide subsidy to the RIL for the
manufacturing and distribution of electricity
- The power plant also provides electricity to the near by
villages
