CSAB NEUT 2017 Counselling is organised for the candidates from North East regions and Union Territories. CSAB NEUT is expected to take place 10 July, 2017 to 31 July, 2017
2. CSAB NEUT 2017 COUNSELLING
The Counselling of the candidates from North East Region and
Union Territories will be conducted under Central Seat
Allocation Board, CSAB 2017.
CSAB NEUT is expected to take place from July 10, 2017 to
July 31, 2017 for all the qualified candidates from North East
region and Union Territories.

4. CSAB NEUT 2017
ELIGIBILITY FOR B.E. /
B.Tech
Students desirous to pursue B.E/B.Tech course, should have
passed class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects with
one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational
Subject and have obtained at least 45% marks in each of the
subjects(40% in case of SC/ST Category)
Candidate should have been born on or after October 01 1992.
However, for SC/ST students there is a relaxation of 5 years and so
their birth date should be on or after October 01, 1987.
5. CSAB NEUT 2017 ELIGIBILITY
FOR B.Arch / B.Plan
For B.Arch/ B.Plan aspirants, candidates should have studied
mathematics along with 5 subjects and should have
scored 50% marks in total aggregate
Also, the candidates appearing for B.Arch could be asked about
their NATA score so candidates should inquire the institution about
the requirement of any additional qualification or not.
Candidate should have been born on or after October 01, 1992.
However, for SC/ST students there is a relaxation of 5 years i.e.,
the cutoff date is October 01, 1987.

REGISTRATION
Visit the official website i.e., csab.nic.in
For Engineering and Architectural courses, login using JEE Roll
No. and password created during the JEE Main / JEE Advanced
registration.
For Pharmacy courses, register through the separate link
available on the website of CSAB.
10. DOCUMENT
VERIFICATION
Candidates should carry the following documents for verification
at the time of counselling:
Photo ID proof as per Govt. India norms
Admit card and Score card of JEE Main 2017 issued by CBSE
Class X Certificate and Marksheet
Demand draft of INR 2000/-
Certificate of category, issued by the competent authority
One set of self attested copies of all the documents listed above
and a passport size photograph.
11. CHOICE FILLING, SAVING
AND LOCKING
Candidates can fill as many number of choices as per their
preference from the list of available seats.
Candidates are permitted to change or re-order their choices,
delete or edit them and add new choices until they finally lock
them
Candidates can’t edit or alter the choices, once they have locked
them.
12. SEAT
ALLOTMENT
In this step, the choices filled by the candidate during stage 2 will
be processed centrally and seat will be allotted in the order of the
merit as per the All India Ranks of candidates and on the basis of
their choices.
Candidates have to report at their Home State CSAB NEUT
centers after allotment of seats along with Demand Draft as seat
allotment fee.
There will be 2 online seat allotment rounds i.e., first round and
second round.
13. FIRST ALLOTMENT
ROUND
Seats will be allotted to the candidates according to their rank
and choices indicated by them.
Candidates should report at their Home State Reporting Centers
for taking provisional admission after seat allotment.
Admission of the candidates will be cancelled if they will not
report at the reporting center within the stipulated deadline.
14. SECOND ALLOTMENT
ROUND
Candidates who will not get seat in the first round will have to wait
for the second round.
Second round of seat allotment will be made against vacant seats
available after the first round of allotment and reporting.
This round involves sliding of allotted seats to higher choices and
allotting them to other students.
15. REPORTING AT
DESIGNATED CENTER
Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to submit an
amount of INR 2000/- via Demand Draft drawn in favor of the
associated NIT.
This amount will be considered as refundable security and will be
returned to the students who don’t join the allotted college. Entire
fee of the college has to be submitted directly to the institution.
16. REPORTING AT THE
ALLOTED INSTITUTE
After allotment of seats in the first round, candidates who are satisfied
with their allotted institution should report at their allotted college as
per the admission schedule.
Candidates who wish to attend 2nd round should wait for the release
of 2nd list of seat allotment after which they can report at the allotted
institution personally as per the admission schedule.
The first seat allotment letter of the candidate will get cancelled
eventually if they opt for second round.
17. SPOT ROUND
COUNSELLING
Spot round is the last round of CSAB NEUT 2017 counselling.
Spot round of seat allotment will be made against vacant seats
available after the first and second round of allotment and
reporting.
In case the candidates have surrendered the previously allotted
seats because they are not satisfied with seat allocation then they
can also take part in the final spot round of counselling.
