Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy
Marketing Objectives
 Increase brand awareness to Music Publishers/Indie Artist by 80% in one year
 Gain sync licensing placements within 6 months for television shows
 Reach 3k followers on Facebook/Instagram, 1k followers on Twitch within 3
months
In order to gain followers on social media and increase brand awareness to music
publishers in one year, A’lyrix has created a targeted marketing strategy. To accomplish these
objectives to promote this product, this product will be used by a combination of push and pull
strategy, along with finding being promoted through music publisher, since the publisher has
connections and opportunity for the product. According to ASCAP, “the publisher will try to
secure commitments from other recordings artist or producers to include the composition on
future albums and singles”.
A’Lyrix will be focused on traditional promotional marketing tools such as online
advertising campaigns through social media, direct marketing through websites, emails, and
brochures. Non-traditional promotion marketing tools will focus on word-of-mouth marketing.
A’Lyrix has a niche target audience to indie/major artist, indie/major labels, and music
publishers. Brochures will be handed out (no booth) at music conferences and festivals. For
example, conferences like MUSEEXPO, A3C Festival & Conference, and Sync Summit.
According to UPrinting, for 1,000 tri-fold brochures that are front and back, the printing
cost is $133.58 (UPrinting, 2020). Information included on the brochure will be a designed logo,
product differentiation, and value proposition. Commercial content for A’Lyrix will be advertised
online on social media (Facebook & Instagram) to reach the target audience. Monthly budgets

for advertising on these sites will be $120, $60 for Facebook and $60 on Instagram. Creation of
the podcast will be created on GarageBand and distributed through DistroKid and placed on
Spotify. Duration of the podcast will range from 30-40 minutes and will focus on songwriting
tips, game trivia, and interviews with other songwriters. related to music. According to
musicgateway.com, DistroKid is $19.999 per year to upload unlimited tracks.
Emails will be used to share information with potential clients, artist, and used to pitch
music directly to publishers, artist, music supervisors and sync licensing opportunities. Go
Daddy offers a free domain, professional email, 10 GB of email storage and serious security
protection for $1.99/month (Go Daddy, 2020). Websites like WordPress are a great way to start a
business website and will be the website of my choice to build the brand with. According to
websitebuilerexpert.com, plugins range from $0 to $1,000. For security reasons, $250 will be the
budget for the website. Security on the website is $50, and pre-made themes range from $0-$200.
Word of Mouth marketing (G will be utilized by making connections at music
conferences and networking with industry professionals. Social media will also be involved,
participation in one-on-one connection with engaging followers.

IMC 2 Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy Marketing Objectives  Increase brand awareness to Music Publishers/Indie Artist by 80% in one year  Gain sync licensing placements within 6 months for television shows  Reach 3k followers on Facebook/Instagram, 1k followers on Twitch within 3 months In order to gain followers on social media and increase brand awareness to music publishers in one year, A’lyrix has created a targeted marketing strategy. To accomplish these objectives to promote this product, this product will be used by a combination of push and pull strategy, along with finding being promoted through music publisher, since the publisher has connections and opportunity for the product. According to ASCAP, “the publisher will try to secure commitments from other recordings artist or producers to include the composition on future albums and singles”. A’Lyrix will be focused on traditional promotional marketing tools such as online advertising campaigns through social media, direct marketing through websites, emails, and brochures. Non-traditional promotion marketing tools will focus on word-of-mouth marketing. A’Lyrix has a niche target audience to indie/major artist, indie/major labels, and music publishers. Brochures will be handed out (no booth) at music conferences and festivals. For example, conferences like MUSEEXPO, A3C Festival & Conference, and Sync Summit. According to UPrinting, for 1,000 tri-fold brochures that are front and back, the printing cost is $133.58 (UPrinting, 2020). Information included on the brochure will be a designed logo, product differentiation, and value proposition. Commercial content for A’Lyrix will be advertised online on social media (Facebook & Instagram) to reach the target audience. Monthly budgets

Creation of the podcast will be created on GarageBand and distributed through DistroKid and placed on Spotify. Duration of the podcast will range from 30-40 minutes and will focus on songwriting tips, game trivia, and interviews with other songwriters. related to music. Emails will be used to share information with potential clients, artist, and used to pitch music directly to publishers, artist, music supervisors and sync licensing opportunities. Websites like WordPress are a great way to start a business website and will be the website of my choice to build the brand with. According to websitebuilerexpert.com, plugins range from $0 to $1,000. For security reasons, $250 will be the budget for the website. Security on the website is $50, and pre-made themes range from $0-$200. Word of Mouth marketing (G will be utilized by making connections at music conferences and networking with industry professionals. Social media will also be involved, participation in one-on-one connection with engaging followers.
