2. SELECT Partnership Scheme
• Students submit Applications in autumn of first or second year.
• The aim is to introduce companies to the next generation of engineering students.
• Speed interviews take place in November.
• If students impress there is the option of a follow-up interview at the company.
• Summer placement, site visits, work experience, potential project work or
mentoring from one of the company’s engineer are all options.
• If successful, the relationship can continue to develop between the student and the
company.
• Opportunity to see students develop through their course.
• The relationship can lead directly to a graduate job.
