  3. 3. e beginning...
  4. 4. 10 Books sold in 50 Countries
  5. 5. Of course this means I have all the answers....
  6. 6. So what is happening in the world of business...
  7. 7. How we do business has changed a lot. It was so much simpler before...
  8. 8. Our customers are much more complicated.
  9. 9. Technology is a blessing and curse...
  10. 10. We are surrounded by clutter...and so are our customers.
  11. 11. Competition is here to stay...and it will continue to grow every day.
  12. 12. It all sounds pretty tough...
  13. 13. In reality we have an amazing opportunity
  14. 14. Successful businesses (and individuals) are very good at evolving.
  15. 15. So how we become better at evolving?
  16. 16. We need to change our focus.
  17. 17. We have to stop thinking inwards and start thinking outwards.
  18. 18. So how do we apply this new focus?
  19. 19. 1. We need to become exceptional empathisers.
  20. 20. 2. We need to think differently about how we communicate.
  21. 21. 3. We need to get better at looking for new ideas.
  22. 22. 4. We need to understand the power of creativity (and treat it as a priority).
  23. 23. 5. We need to be prepared to try new things (that is where innovation happens).
  24. 24. 6. We have to hit the streets to find new business.
  25. 25. Put a pea under your cushion... 7. We need to focus more on helping those in need.
  26. 26. 8. We need to get uncomfortable.
  27. 27. 9. We have to constantly be surprising our customers (in a good way) by being unexpected.
  28. 28. It sounds easy, what’s the big deal?
