I am originallyfrom the island of St. Lucia. I have been residing in the U.S. for the past 15 years. Ihave been
employed asa chef in St. Lucia for eleven years,and Icame to the U.S. in 2001.Ibecame a U.S. citizen and
from there Iworked asa front deskmanager at the East Side Spa until 2008.Then Istarted doing designer
handbags for my own business. This is currentlystillongoing. I'm looking to go further in my job experience
than where I have been thus far.
While looking for other opportunities I started the position of sales associate atGap Inc. Ihad this position for
three years and within that time I was promoted to Operations Manager. This required me to be more of a
supervisoryfigure and I was managing over 50 employees in a flagship store.Furthermore, Ireceived another
promotion to manage another store as Operations Manager which Idid for another five years. My
responsibilitieswere opening and closing the store as well as operating the store five daysa week. As a
manager Iwas in charge of store promotions and ensuring everything was neatand organized. Ihad a team of
five employees to ensure shipments were received and processed accurately within a timelymanner. Ialso
have two years of experience asa front deskmanager at the EastSide Spa where my daily routines included
issuing newmemberships and welcoming newcustomers. Every day I was responsible for managing ten
employees.
Currently, Iam looking for a new opportunity with another company to extend my managerial experience. I am a
very professional, dedicated, and punctual individual and I work very well with others. That is why I am looking
