PROFILE
I’ve lived in Portland for most of my life growing up in the SE area. My family and I moved here when I was
around the age of nine as I grew up I began to fall in love with this city and still am to this day. I had also
spent a few years in Oklahoma City where I started my work experience at Express. After spending some
years there I very happily moved back here to Portland where I was very fortunate to transfer with Express
and remain with the Brand. Although very young at the time, after only about a year and a half with the
brand I soon became a key holder and at only about five months later moved to the position on Co-Manager.
I consider my previous store manager who helped propel me into the role as more of a mentor. She taught
me almost everything in know about the industry and how to excel and become a strong leader. Having
been a co-manager for over three years, I’ve learned a great deal about leadership and what it takes to be a
leader and role models others. I have also attained great client service skills and have developed a passion
for client services and working with people. I believe while working in the client service/retail industry, there
is a sort of responsibility to try and relate to every customer and create an atmosphere in which they feel
comfortable to shop and leave feeling like they had a great experience. After my time at Express I pushed
myself try to find an opportunity in healthcare. Though the line of work is different from retail, the idea
is the same, and that is that we are providing a service for our patients and caring for them. Working at
ZoomCare has taught me so much and its given me a great deal of respect for the healthcare providers who
provide care for our patients. Whether it be in customer service, healthcare, or any other field of work, I
believe I’m a great asset to an employer and I only believe in doing my best and succeeding in all I put effort
in.
EXPERIENCE
ZoomCare August 2015 - present
ZA (Portland, Or)
• I started working for Zoomcare in August, 2015. It was my first opportunity to get into the medical
field and shy away from retail. After an extensive interviewing process I was offered a job as a Zoom
Associate. My main duties include but are not limited too Checking in/out patients as they come and
go for their appointment, verifying demographics of each other as well as inputting or checking patient
benefits, collecting payment for the visit, stocking lab, running lab tests, and phlebotomy. I stated
out as a float meaning I would work in multiple clinics with multiple providers. After floating for five
months, I was given my home clinic on Alberta which is one of the highest volume clinics in Portland.
It’s a very hands on job with a lot of multi-tasking and prioritizing. While I am operating as the front
desk associate I also have a key role in helping provide care for our patients by running in-clinic labs
and being the in-clinic phlebotomist. It’s key to provide a great experience for our patients to ensure
that they feel that they are on the right track to better health and that they feel comfortable coming
back to us.

Express November 2009 - August 2015
Co-Manager (Portland, Or)
• I started with the Express brand on Black Friday in 2009. I started out as a holiday hire working
through the holiday season in Oklahoma City, OK. Shortly after the holiday season they approached
me with the offer to stay on board as one of their core associates. After a couple months working with
customers and building a customer base I was promoted to the full-time Fashion Expert position. In
2011 I transferred back here to Portland but unfortunately my previous position wasn’t available at
the location I transferred to but I gladly accepted a part-time sales position. Not long after I started
in the Clackamas location, I was promoted to part-time Sales Lead; a key holder position. After only
being in the role for a few months, the opportunity to become a Co-Manager came to me. After going
through the interview process I was promoted to the role of Co-Manager. In my role, my responsibility
was hiring and capabilities. My duties in my role of hiring manager has been to source candidates,
interview, and on board new associates. Part of my biggest challenges had been hiring for two Black
Friday seasons so far. My duties in my role as capabilities manager has been to conduct weekly audits
which include: Checking associate files to ensure we are 100% compliant, look through bank deposit
logs for any out-of-balances, check shipment logs to ensure PC entires are complete, ect. I had learned
so much about myself as well as my leadership skills that I will carry with me.

• I have been working in the customer service industry for over 7 years. I sincerely enjoy working with
customers and I understand that in retail, customer loyalty is the foundation to a strong and successful
brand. In my management experience at Express, my job is to make sure that every customer leaves
feeling valued and able to share the great experience I provided them with. Among the skills in customer
service, I also have a strong attention to detail with brand visuals, ensuring our floor is visually and
ascetically pleasing and set to the current floor-set projection while at the same time keeping our sales
floor stocked with product to drive sales goals. I’m a strong leader who knows how to delegate roles
