innovative packages which would also include EOR techniques, with 58 years of hands-
on experience and insight, through a mode of consultancy for an oil-field development.
Provide advice on strategy for sustainable business growth and vision. Advise to explore,
improve recovery, and produce Coal Bed Methane.
• During past 18 years provided consultancy for basin evaluation, acreage selection for
exploration, property valuation for acquisition, preparation of competitive bids. and
building E&P teams. Designed innovative packages to improve oil recovery from
mature, marginally economical oil-fields and non-producing fields with excellent
results. Packages typically include well-wise vertical profile correction, in-fill wells for
by-passed oil, improve areal sweep through lateral wells and application of EOR
technology after ascertaining economic benefits.
• Advised Reliance Ind on exploration, reservoir management, property evaluation,
investment strategy and Coal Bed Methane Developed core E&P team. Conceptualised
potential gas habitat in Krishna-Godavari off-shore basin in turbidite reservoir
associated with appropriate structural closure. This led to discovery of 14 tcf Dhirubhai
Gas field.
