canals and defensive mechanisms it

Used to be a hunting ground for the
Habsburgs
Many animals nearly became extinct but
because of the park they didn’t
Beevers were reintroduced
It was bombed during the WW2
Nowadays it is used for recreation
(cycling, swimming, running)
Most of the park is left to the wilderness
