Stark Investments, Milwaukee, WI – During my time at Stark Investments, the firm grew from a small
Milwaukee-based hedge fund manager to a large, global multi-strategy alternative investment manager
of multiple private fund structures. I was asked to remain with the firm to assist with the process of
winding down the firm until such point as there was no longer sufficient substantive work for my skill
set.
Documentation Manager - January 2000 – September 2016
Negotiation of documentation and implementation of accounts, including prime brokerage,
swap, futures, repurchase, custodial, execution and banking for a diverse group of funds
Due diligence in support of accounts and due diligence of multiple counterparties in multiple
jurisdictions, including United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Asia
Creation of organizational system for the large number of counterparty agreements and
support, of which counterparties numbered in the hundreds and agreements in the thousands
Integral member of the team that created the back office and middle office systems in support
of broker relationships and transactions
Assisted Legal and Compliance Department with quarterly and annual filing matters required of
an SEC registered investment advisor, as well as with certain foreign registrations

During the restructuring and ultimate wind-down process, assisted with the closing of any open
transactions while keeping investors' best interests in mind, then coordinated with
counterparties to confirm no residual balances or holdings, working to then terminate any
outstanding agreements, guaranties and account supplements

investor files are AML and FATCA/CRS compliant
Responsible for creation of and reconciliation of investor statements and contract notes

2. Black Maple Capital Management – While assisting with the wind-down of the Stark Investments
business, I was asked to also assist with the launch of Black Maple Capital Management, which is an
alternative investment management firm formed by a group of senior Stark Investments personnel.
