Program Requirements
• Must be currently enrolled and seeking a four-year degree or Master’s degree at an accredited university/college
• Must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (unofficial transcript required upon offer)
• Must have completed one semester of university/college by time of application
• Must have completed 12 credit hours (not including dual enrollment) by time of application
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for the full duration of the program
• Must have at least 4 days of open-close availability, including one weekend day, for the full duration of the program
• Must attend 4 scheduled Professional Development classes
• Must attend 2 scheduled Expert Seminars
• Must attend 2 Behind-the-Scenes Tours
• Must complete project assigned by department or Student Programs

College Experience Internship Tracks
Theme Park Track
Departments available: Culinary Operations, Merchandise, Park Operations, Water Safety
• Work in host department learning all functions of department
• Shadow department leadership during a portion of the internship
Leadership Track—Returning interns and graduate students (with hospitality-related experience) are eligible
Departments available: Culinary Operations, Merchandise, Park Operations
• Work as a front-line team member and shadow area leadership for first weeks of internship
• Act as a temporary Assistant Supervisor for remaining weeks of program
Specialty Track
Departments available: Education Programs, Entertainment Costuming, Horticulture,
Human Resources, Public Relations, Risk Management, Security, Zoological
• Work in specialty area learning all aspects of that department
Compensation
Pay Rate: Starts at $9.25/hr*
*Increases based on credit hours earned and selected track
Housing Information
• Accommodations offered for select programs, if needed, through Temporary Housing Solutions
• Rent: Approximately $130 weekly
• Housing Amenities: Fully furnished rooms, full kitchen, pool, exercise room, game room, theatre, cable, nation-wide
phone calls, all utilities included
*Students need to provide their transportation to and from classes, seminars, and work - public transportation is available
