• This presentation outlines the role of the teacher in Tutored
Web-based courses.
• The presentation will outline three levels of support:
• High Level of Support
• Medium Level of Support
• Low Level of Support
• The benefits of each model of support will be discussed.
• The support model is based on 100 students.
• Note: Tasks may be added or taken out based on the client’s
specific needs.

• Research indicates that tutored-led learning is superior to
learning in self access in terms of learning outcomes
• Minimizes dropout rate: decrease dropout: researches show
that courses in pure self access suffer from high dropout rate
• Tutored-led courses lead to recurrent business
