IONIC BONDS:
Ionic bonds occurs between
metal and non metal.
In the ionic bond there is
complete transfer of electrons
from the metal giving cation to
nonmetal giving anion

in covalent bonding non
metals share electrons .
There can be double bonds
in CO2 ,and triple bonds in
N2 .

Co-ordinate bond:
This is similar to covalent
bond, but the shared pair
of electrons is donated by
the partner atom.

HYDROGEN BONDS:
This can be illustrated in
water molecule.
The molecular formula of
water is H2O, the oxygen
is more negative than
hydrogen.
