Our goal is to increase drug awareness and the
harm it has on high school students due to
peer pressure. Also to provide help and
support.

- 90% teens are susceptible to peer pressure around the globe;
especially drugs
- Adderall use has increased more than 5% to 7.5% this year alone
in the US
- 25% of high schoolers do drugs in the U.S.A.
- 55% of seniors in high schools think it is ok or harmless to take
crack, Cocaine, and heroine.
- 60% of seniors also think marijuana is safe to abuse
Kids everywhere suffer from the peer pressure of abusing
and taking drugs, here are some statistics:

1.Find a teacher to sponsor you and help with your
vision to create a club
2. Promote the club with flyers, posters, and social
media
3. Inform members of the effects of drug abuse, and
the definition of peer pressure during the initial
meetings
4. Spread the message outside of the club through trips
to other schools or organizations
5. Move on to implementing a counseling service to
help students in need at our schools. 8

“…dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families.
The agency mission is Turning Lives Around by Providing
Healthy Alternatives to Alcohol and other Drug Use.”
○ Provided thousands of people guidance to lead a sober
and healthy life.
○ DAAC will be able to help us in many ways:
● Connections to different schools and companies
● Sponsor us
○ With the money we will:
● Use it to make phone cases, pop-sockets to raise funds
& raise awareness.

11. Local Implementation

○ This will involve putting the instructions
to create our club into effect at our own
school
● Our club will have 4 positions; president, vice president,
treasurer & secretary.
● We will also have social media accounts and a website
all managed by the secretary.
● We will also have a counselor who will hold group or
individual sessions with the students who choose to do so

12. Advertisement
● Making an Instagram account including schedule
classes and videos about drug awareness.
● Having a website for people who don't have social
media and a counselor/advisory teacher to help the
students learn about the website.
● Merchandise that will be given to the students
having a message about drug awareness.
