Brief Description: VOR-ILS is a navigation subsystem used by
milltary aircraft. It basically operates in two different mode VOR and
ILS (Instrument Landing System)
 VOR mode provides the user bearing with respect VOR ground
information along with HOMING and BEARING information.
 ILS mode provides user, Localizer and glide slope deviation of
aircraft, from the runway during approach. It also provides the
Marker beacon information to the pilot.
 VOR-ILS information is displayed on MFDs and HUD display.

  • 5. Brief Description: VOR-ILS is a navigation subsystem used by milltary aircraft. It basically operates in two different mode VOR and ILS (Instrument Landing System)  VOR mode provides the user bearing with respect VOR ground information along with HOMING and BEARING information.  ILS mode provides user, Localizer and glide slope deviation of aircraft, from the runway during approach. It also provides the Marker beacon information to the pilot.  VOR-ILS information is displayed on MFDs and HUD display. Project #8: Title : VnV of Flight control computer at Low level.
