PRESENTED BY AMANDAWHETSTONE.COM
WHY ARE THEY A
GREAT SOURCE?
• Your existing customers already know
and most likely love your business.
• So if they are thinking about picking up a
seasonal job for some extra holiday cash,
you’ve already built a relationship with
them.
• In addition to the extra money, they may
be won over by any employee discounts
or perks that are offered to help with
their own personal purchases.
PRESENTED BY AMANDAWHETSTONE.COM
HOW TO RECRUIT THEM
The really good news is that you probably
already have their contact information or
have frequent contact with them. We can use
that to our advantage in the following ways.
• In store signage
• Email them
• Text them
• Promote on your social channels
• In store flyers
Don’t forget to play up any discounts
or other perks that your business
offers. PRESENTED BY AMANDAWHETSTONE.COM

WHY ARE THEY A
GREAT SOURCE?
• You can utilize applicants that were good
but maybe not a perfect fit for the
position you interviewed them to fill.
• They are already interested in working for
your company.
• You have the opportunity to “try them
out” and possibility place them
permanently after the seasonal position.
• Save on recruiting costs by using
applications already in your database.

HOW TO RECRUIT THEM
Again, since these candidates have already
completed applications you have their
contact information at your finger tips.
• Send them an email
• Get on the phone and call them
• Send them a text message
Stay in contact with applicants that
your were close to hiring!

WHY ARE THEY A GREAT
SOURCE?
• They know your business and how to do the job so
they can hit the ground running.
• Training time will be decreased or not needed.
• They can take on more advanced roles like
supervisory positions or help train other seasonal
staff.
• You know what kind of worker they will be (we are
only calling back employees that were awesome).
PRESENTED BY AMANDAWHETSTONE.COM
HOW TO RECRUIT THEM
These employees have worked for you in the
past so, you have their contact information at
your finger tips.
• Send them an email
• Call and speak with them personally
• Send them a text message
• Send a letter or postcard by mail
Don’t forget about past seasonal
employees and interns too!
