Ans. Every businessoperations contain a set of process that are repeatedover and over again.
These processes make up the core of that business.
Within each business area either works with information of materials, sometimes both. The
data or materials is transformed. For example, raw materials may be manufactured into a
sellable good. Data may be transformed into a report. Every business area could possibly be
responsible for a significant number of process.
Business process management analyzes each of these processes. It looks at them individually
and it involves analyzing how the different processes impact one another. The idea is to get
good insights into the current state of these processesfirst. The next step is to identifywhere
these processescanbe improved.The ultimate goal ismaking the organizational more efficient
and effective. It is important to understand that business process management is not a task
management. Task are project related. Business process relate to the core operations of a
business. However, business process management could identify redundancies in the order
placing process at an online retailer.That could leadto a project that involvesresearchingand
selecting a new software packages.

manager has worked with same company for 2 years and seemsto have trouble inmaintaining
cohesive relationships with suppliers. R&D has 3 years of experience leading 5 staff.
Threats having competitorswho are equallyofferingservicesofequal qualityduring the past 2
years. Hence these are the core business process management that has to be maintained in a
company.
