About Steams and Valleys
Streams and Valleys is a nonprofit dedicated to the beautification and development of the Trinity
River since 1968. When the organization was founded, the Trinity River was not usable. Civic
leaders sought to restore it as a local asset. Streams and Valleys has since helped construct more
than 70 miles of river-side trails, created pedestrian bridges and improved neighborhood access
to the river.
