ABOUT ME ABOUT ME
1. I took my first tennis lessons
when I was three! I used to be
ranked number 1 in the state of
Oklahoma in doubles and
played in college.
2. My two son’s names are Kaden
and Carter. Kaden is ten and
Carter is seven.

summer and finally bought a
house in Dewey.

I have many best friends. It was hard for
me to choose just one person, but for this
assignment I chose my friend, Leeca.
Leeca and I are alike in many ways. We
went to elementary, middle, and high school
together. We also were involved in
cheerleading, pom pon and tennis together.
One thing that keeps us especially close is our
Leeca and I are different too. I am much
taller than Leeca! I am also a talker; whereas,
she is a better listener. I tend to bring energy to
things, but Leeca is calmer and brings calmness
I am lucky to have her as my best friend!
We have known each other for about 30 years!
One interesting fact is that I broke her glasses in
grade and she didn’t like me very much

My first week of school was great! On Monday, I met all of my students and we went to PE for
the first time. On Tuesday, there was a crazy flood that we all had to walk through to get to
lunch! I couldn’t believe my boys had football practice that night! They looked like pigs in a mud
hole! Wednesday was fun because I started the journal with homeroom. I cannot wait to see the
final products they make! During science class, I introduced the classes to “mirror with words”
and “mirrors!”. They seem to really like those two procedures. Thursday we went to the library
and all classes worked to earn their first lab. Friday was the best day! My classes all got to
participate in the Black Box Lab and I went to Owasso with my family that evening.
