2. • The overall goal of my project was to provide information for the WOU Softball
Elite Summer Camp.
• The targeted audience was high school athletes interested in collegiate softball
• I wanted to create a message that athletes get to spend three days working with
collegiate coaches and athletes for the opportunity to perfect their skills
• I created a brochure, poster, and business card.
• The brochure was designed to give athletes information about the summer clinic.
• The poster provides the basic information needed, to draw the athletes to the
brochure.
• The business card was created to provide athletes at the camp with my
information.

3. • Brochure: This is designed with the information and description of
our camp. It provides the details athletes will need to know before
registering
• Poster: This is designed to get the attention of athletes who would
potentially attend our camp
• The business card has all my information, so athletes can contact me

4. Brochure
• This jpeg of the brochure slide has the Jing sun in the corner…I
couldn’t get rid of it!
• The title is “BankGoth” which is a font the athletic department uses
for advertising
• I paired BankGoth with Bookman Old Style for the text
• The graphic I chose is an image from the conference tournament two
years, I shadowed out the edges so it wasn’t framed with such harsh
edges
• I chose to align all the text to the left, and give the quick information
listed on the right side of the brochure

6. Poster
• I continued with the theme of the font style, color and alignment
• I chose a different photo, but used the same style of shadowing
• I placed only the quick facts that are necessary for the athletes on this
poster

8. Business Card
• Again I was going for a repetitive look of fonts, alignment and image
• However, I think I broke one of William’s rules when designing a
business card --- my title is size 13 pt. I did this because I wanted to
keep the same title font, and when it was smaller it was not legible
• When I created the slide originally, I customized the size to 2.5 x 3
