2. MEET ALVIN Alvin, the “awesome” spotlight hog of the chipmunks, is a sincere chipmunk. He’ll do anything for attention; even if it means jumping off a cliff. Meeting the chipettes wasn’t his first thought that would happen in his lifetime. Thinking he was special, he never knew he would have to face the sequel of his life. Coming to an end, it was a tie. Alvin likes to show off, doing many tricks on the trampoline, to wheelies on a motorcycle. It gets the girls’ attention, but his younger brothers are used to it. Alvin is the oldest of his brothers. He is 5 minutes older than Simon, leaving Theodore the youngest. And as he refers to himself, he is the ‘Awesome’ One. And the popular crowd approves it.
3. MEET SIMON Simon is the studious chipmunk of the group. Knowledge is what comes first and responsibility for him. Even if Alvin is the oldest, he is still the one “in charge.” Over the years, Alvin never listened to a word he said, so he never really worried about him. He started to care more about Theodore, who began looking up to Simon. Simon always knows what he is doing at all times. Simon calls himself the “Smart” One, which is true. He saved the chipmunks’ life from being thrown on stage by Ian. Luckily those plush chipmunks were lying around, or they still would be in that cat carrier. Simon is the most responsible, but even if Alvin’s leader, he’s just glad to be his brother.
4. MEET THEODORE Theodore is the sweetest and the tubbiest of the chipmunks. He loves to be hugged by Simon, and which is what he gets almost everyday. You could call him the “Hug Receiver.” He doesn’t give them, but he always receives them. Many people think Theodore is the best chipmunk; I think we all know why! His cute little eyes bring out your adoring attitude for him. Everything that comes from his mouth is positive, unlike Alvin. This teddy bear wants to be as nice as possible; especially to his lady bear, Eleanor. Compliments is all you hear from him. He loves everyone and wants to get to know them. Even you! How he really likes to greet is saying, “Hi! I’m Theodore!”
5. MEET BRITTANY Brittany is the sassy leader of the chipettes, although, a kind one, too. Protecting her sisters is one thing she does. Cheerleading is also one of her heart’s desires. Brittany has a major crush on Alvin, and is aware of Alvin crushing on her. Her heart seeks for a chipmunk who will love her, but does she believe in Alvin’s love? She doesn’t even know. Brittany’s sparkly eyes bring everyone’s attention into liking her. She has a heart like Eleanor’s or Theodore’s but deep down, she can be vicious. She has the attitude of a girl who wants it all, the money and the looks, but believe it or not, she’s got it! She tries to attract all the attention and attempts to succeed, also winning Alvin’s heart.
6. MEET JEANETTE Jeanette is the studious of the chipettes. She tries to do her best at encouraging Brittany and Eleanor when they are at tough levels at school or in the social life. Simon is one of the desire’s of her heart. She always dreams of being held in Simon’s arms. Finding out Simon also liked Jeanette made her extremely happy. She knew that it would happen sooner or later. Jeanette freaks out when someone volunteers her to participate in something. She never wants to do anything. All she says is, “I can’t do it…well,” and backs out, making her look chicken. After catching the remote to the mechanical helicopter, she won the courage to participate in such things. Either way, even though she may chicken out of things, she loves her sisters; especially when they are always there for her, and always encourage her to take a step forward.
7. MEET ELEANOR Eleanor is the loving chipette of the group. She cares for her sisters even more than Brittany cares. Eleanor would do anything to protect them. Eleanor’s heart crushes on Theodore. Finding out Theodore had a crush on her was on of the most thrilling moments of her life. She loves Theodore and always will. When Theodore told her that she was good just the way she was, she felt great. She knew she didn’t need any shoes to make her taller, she needed to be herself. Eleanor’s shortness had never bothered her until the moment she was told she was way too short. Theodore’s encouraging statement changed her life. She never felt so loved from anyone before; not even from her sisters!
