2. Being industrious is good quality to have. Many of us, Filipinos. Are lucky
enough to be endowed with the virtue of industriousness. Being
industrious means working energetically and devotedly. It means being
hardworking in whatever project we are involved. We can demonstrate
our being industrious in different occasions.
When we are at home and working on a number of chores given to
us by our parents, more often than not, we make sure that we finish
these tasks first before we go out to play or watch our favorite TV show.
When we do this, our parents would regard us as industrious children
even if they seldom say it to us in person.
3. When we are in school, we see our teacher looking bothered by the
pile of trash left by our classmates after eating their snacks. If we decide
to volunteer our services to help our teacher get rid of the garbage, many
of our classmates would probably see us industriousness person, especially
if we do the helping without wanting to receive any reward.
When we are at church or Sunday school, and the lector assign us
task that is not usually assigned to us, and we do it our fellow
churchgoers-including the lector-as good and having virtuous
characteristics, including industriousness.
4. Lastly, when our community conducts a project to improve its
condition and make the place more habitable, volunteering our services to
the project would certainly earn us points from the community officials and
our neighbors as well.
In conclusion, we can always count on the fact that we are
regarded by the people around us as good people and reliable individuals if
we posses good qualities, particularly the value of industriousness.
