2.  Explaing Orientalism by Edward Said

3.  Edward Said contributed in the field of
literary theory named Post colonialism.
 And he wrote the work “Orientalism”

4. The west sees the middle eastern,Asian,and
North African society by the only word “the
East”.
Western approach and attitudes towards
middle,north african amd asian
people,society and culture.
Western people sees them as an
unintelligent,undeveloped and uncivilized
means lower than them.

5.  “A western style of dominating, restructing,
and having authority over the orient”

6.  Celebrated character
 But the
characterisation is of
Arab people as
uncivilized
 Ridiculed and mocked
a lot
 He becomes the
representative of
Arab society and its
people.

7.  The orient and occident is man maid, not
natural. So as west,orient has its own reality
and physical presence. So the western has its
own tradition,thoughts and vocabulary.
