About Fraddon Biogas
Fraddon Biogas is an anaerobic digestion facility in
Cornwall which converts organics material including
local food waste and agricultural waste, into gas and
electricity.
Our Government accredited facility produces
renewable energy that powers thousands of
UK homes.
Our facility also produces natural fertilisers (PAS 110
accredited) that are being used by local farmers.
3. A variety of local businesses dispose their organic
waste at our facility because it:
Provides savings in waste disposal (anaerobic
digestion is usually the most cost-effective disposal
option for food waste);
Contributes to their zero waste-to-landfill
objectives;
Adds green to their energy credentials.
Our facility takes a range of organics material from
Cornish waste producers, including :
• Dairy
• Bakery
• Potatoes and vegetables
• Animal manure
• Abattoir bi-products
