The KIH Bed is fully compliant with British
Standards BS7177, BS5852 and BSEN713.
These tests relate to Furniture Fire Regulations
and also to breathability as per testing carried

The KIH Bed was originally designed in 2011
when founder Julie Hawkins was in her third
trimester of pregnancy and desperate to lay
on her front.
After an extensive internet search producing
no results Julie went about having the KIH
bed made for her own personal use.
Following significant enthusiasm and positive
feedback from the health visitor, local
pregnancy massage therapist and midwife,
the KIH bed was patented, tested, and turned
into a saleable product. Now used by
massage therapists, chiropractors and
osteopaths around the UK, as well as by
mums to be and new mums in the home, the
KIH bed is turning into a must have as a
therapist, hotel and household maternity aid.
