1. Cellville
Cellville is a town that is divided into sectors. Each sector has its own name
and its own job. The biggest sectors in our town are the, Golgi bodies, Ribosomes,
Cell membrane workers, Mitochondria and lysosomes.
In cellville all important information is kept at the nucleus. The nucleus is
essentially the government building of town. In cellville children start working their
life long jobs, when they reach the age of ten. When they come of age their parents
must bring each child to the nucleus to be assigned their jobs.
Children often get assigned to the Golgi bodies sector of town. In this sector,
workers are given the job of packaging things for storage. Workers also have to
package items that are sent out of town. Children are given this job because it is one
of the easiest and it keeps them occupied.
Another one of the easier jobs is being a part of the cell membrane work
team. Cell membrane workers live on the outskirts of town. Their job is to keep town
protected. These workers get to selectively choose who and what comes in and out
of town. They are also in charge of monitoring every substance that tries to get
through their guard. They have to be sure that no pathogens slip through their
watch to spread disease.
The next sector of town is the lysosomes, which are also known as the
cleaning crew. These workers are in charge of the breakdown of unneeded food,
cleaning and making sure cellvile does not become cluttered. Lysosomes also have

2. the sad job of removing workers who have passed on, or are too old to keep up with
their assigned jobs.
The people of ribosome sector have one of the biggest jobs. The workers
have to produce protein filled food for all the residents of cellville. The good thing
about this job is the fact that workers can either live wherever they please within
cellville or they can be close to the endoplasmic reticulum. The endoplasmic
reticulum is a series of channels through which material is transported.
The mitochondria sector of town, is where all of the town's energy is
produced. The workers here are in charge of being sure the proper amount of
energy is being produced. Without the mitochondria the town would not have any
power.
All in all, the people of cellville must all complete their jobs to keep the town
running smoothly.
