7. Case Study B: ALO Drink
ALO Drink, the #1 ready-to-drink aloe vera drink in
the U.S., is made with organic aloe vera and fruit
juices. There are 18 varieties of ALO - so there’s a
flavor for every mood.
The Challenge: Increase sales of ALO Drink in
stores utilizing an integrated digital marketing
strategy on a very limited budget, as well as
overcoming the lack of knowledge surrounding
ingesting aloe vera for it’s healing properties.
8. Content Strategy
We tackled the takeover of the social media channels by constructing content calendars that detailed the copy and
accompanying graphics from month to month. This allowed us to plan for and maximize our engagement on holidays,
during events, etc. We utilized scheduling platforms like Hootsuite to make sure posts go out in a timely manner.
9. Content Curation and Platform Management
Daily platform management allows us to
interact with our consumers directly in a
casual, approachable manner. Though
interacting with our fans on Facebook,
Twitter, and Instagram, I’ve dealt with
customer service issues, ran contests,
made organic connections with
influencers like Denver Bronco Cody
Latimer, curated some amazing fan
photos, and much more.
11. Promotional Contest Campaigns
The Summer of ALO-ve Giveaway was run to
raise brand awareness and hand out some
drinks for the summer months to our fans. We
saw great engagement for our brand, and had
an increase of over 4,000 fans over the three
months we ran this campaign.
12. Event Partnerships
We’ve taken ALO to events large and small,
from New York Fashion Week, to Coachella, to
the Whole Planet Music Series in LA.
13. Brand Partners
We’ve partnered with brands like Way Better
Snacks, Bobo’s Oat Bars, Perfect Bar, White
Girl Salsa, and other natural food brands for
giveaways and trade show promotions.
14. Influencers
ALO has many fans! I’ve been fortunate enough
to help the brand team up with talented
individuals like musician Andy Allo, Broncos
player Cody Latimer, and the Jim Dunn Racing
team.
15. Work: Blogger Partnerships
● The Realistic Nutritionist
● Cooking Quinoa
● The Cookie Rookie
● Whistle & Ivy
● One Sweet Appetite
● Wannabite
18. Social Media and Web Analytics
For ALO, each month I would construct and analyze reports on social media endeavors to inform strategy moving forward.
