2.  Adverb can be :
- A process - A place - A time
Adverbs cab be obligatory or optional
according to the clause type of the sentence :
Ex: SVA She is in the house.
Here the adverb is an obligatory part in the
sentence .
Ex : SV Sometimes she sings beautifully.
Here both of the adverbs are optional.

3.  Passive voice is the best example to explain the
notion of transformation. The object of the active
sentence ( SVO ) will be the subject of the passive
sentence.

Vpass Verb to be + past participle
Ex: Many critics disliked the play.
The play was disliked by many critics.
