ability to store, retrieve, and process data. You may already know that you can use a
computer to type documents, send email, play games, and browse the Web.

What is computer?
Here you will find a general understanding of how computers work and the need for a computer.
Centuries ago the computer was unknown but other devices were used, in the 21st century there was an
increase in the use of computers in the world.

Input devices
An input device is essentially a piece of hardware that sends data to a computer. Most
input devices either interact with or control the computer in some way. The most
common input devices are the mouse and the keyboard, but there are many others.
