 New product and revision change audits, this was directly going to the production line and plant
patios to verify all of the parts involved in the implementation have been installed correctly and
meet all of the quality requirements per specifications and drawings.
 Maintain master data for the revision changes and coordinate the loading of any new part to the
PACCAR system in time and correctly. Audits to system where also made to verify data
accuracy.
 Training of new employees on Kenworth’s master data system to consult changes.

information to the project as well as how to keep track on their progress.

 Purchase material required for the fabrication of the electronic equipment, tools, metals, parts,
etc. to fabricate the test equipment and tools made at this shops.
 Analysis of part lists (BOM) for the different tools and test equipment made in the shops. Work
with suppliers to get quotes on the materials as well as negotiate prices and delivery dates.
 Maintain Min-Max levels of material used at the Mechanical Fabrication Shop.
 Follow up with Honeywell Finance group in case of payment problems with the suppliers.
 Follow up and support to Honeywell MRTC and ISC customs teams to assure that the materials
arrived at the Calexico warehouse are imported on time and correctly.

 Focused on product quality and yield improvements within site operations and engagement on
multiple projects to reduce risk of poor quality and late delivery to customers. Implementation of
Process Control Planning and Execution (PCPX), reduction of variation in internal
manufacturing, assembly, test, and inspection processes using Six Sigma and Lean
Manufacturing Tools. Work with site operations and technical support teams to advance the
maturity of the Honeywell Operation System (HOS) with emphasis on Built in Quality
implementation for product / work cells.
 Work directly with customers on improving quality for the products they get from us, work to get
feedback on issues they have to work in the improvement plans at site level to correct them and
improve customer satisfaction.
 Coordinate with all functions to re-start production on parts that have not been manufactured in
more than 2 years, this requires project managing to get all of the areas to get all of the
requirements in line (tools, purchased parts, machining programs, braze programs, etc.). This
with the focus on customer on time delivery and satisfaction.
 Work with the different production cells to implement product revision changes per the
ECR/ECO process.
 Perform BOM analysis for financial requirements to solve part standard variance issues. Also
perform BOM analysis to check for drawing compliance.
