Spain's land relief can
be divided into three
major groups:
5. ISLANDS AND BASINS

Guadalquivir.
Island terrain: The
Balearic Island in the
Mediterranean Sea

Reservoirs heve been
constructed along
many of them.
8. CLIMATE
Most of Spain has a
mild climate, except for
the Canary Islands,
wich have a warm
climate because of their
latitude. However,
Spain has five climates
varities that are
associated with
specific vegetation
types.
9. VEGETATION
The land relief, vegetation
and climate of a place all
define its landscapes.
Natural lanscapes are
those that are unaffected
by human activity.
There are few natural
lanscapes in Spain today,
because it is a densely
populated country and has
been extensively modified
by human activity.
