  5. 6. Features of the peninsular relief <ul><li>An average high altitude (660m), which is caused by the existence of numerous ranges , especially a large plateau </li></ul><ul><li>It is in sections the mountanious systems from independent blocks and surround the plateau </li></ul>
  6. 7. Central Plateau <ul><li>It is placed in the center of Iberian peninsula . </li></ul><ul><li>The peninsular relief is organized around it. </li></ul><ul><li>Its land is high and flat </li></ul><ul><li>It is divided in two subplateaus. </li></ul>

Parts of the Central plateau <ul><li>Central System; It divides the plateau in two halves, the Northern subplateau and southern subplateau.It is formed by some Sierras and it has very ancient materials </li></ul><ul><li>Mounts of Toledo , They divide the southern subplateau in two parts . The Tajo´s river basin and The Guadiana´s river basin </li></ul><ul><li>Their materials are very ancient and eroded </li></ul>
