The recce explores the location that we are willing to use,

1.  The recce will show a range
of locations which include a
park, bedroom and the
street. We are going to be
using it as a guide for us to
acknowledge how we are
going to use the locations,
for what purpose and how
is the mise en scene going
to be used.

2.  This particular location will include one of the
most dramatic shots as this will show how the
protagonist is going to leave the house and the
past behind her. This scene will show the
breakdown in communication. There will also be
various shots including the protagonist being
followed by her boyfriend in order to show
tension and barrier built up between them. Once
again, there are various angles in which we can
have the camera positioned in order to get the
best results. The railings will also allow us to see
the characters movement down the stairs, either
the whole body or part of their body.

3.  This will be the main location in the music video as we will introduce the
protagonist here. The location will include most of the actions, such as her
packing her suitcase as or her having a mental breakdown. This location will also
feature flashbacks of the couple being happy together as well as their roles being
reversed at the end of the video. The pictures of the room are also showing
various angles in order to give us an idea of what position will work best. My
team mate also has a light dimmer which will alter the brightness of the lights.

4.  This will be the second
most important location
as it will show the
protagonist leaving the
house. She will also be
shown wandering the
streets at night, looking
angry and hurt.
 My team mate photographed three
pictures at different times of the day in
order to show the difference the lighting
has and how lit the road will be when we’re
filming the scene. In order to maintain a
consistent quality to the video, we decided
to use the street next to the house we’re
filming.

5.  This particular location will be used as a part
of the protagonist’s flashbacks. The situations
will include the couple playing around,
walking together and the boyfriend pushing
the girl on a swing. These shots are like to be
either long shots or medium long shots in
order to show how they interact with one
another. Close ups will also be used in order to
focus on specific issues within the scenes. The
angles are going to be mostly diagonal, as
shooting from the front might not appear as
flattering. Depending on the weather, the
frames will be altered to include props like
umbrellas.
