I have overtenyearsof experience inthe executionof high-endpharmaceutical meetingsandevents
fromconceptiontoreconciliation. Of those tenyears,sevenof themIwasthe managerof our meeting
planningdepartmentwithbetween 7– 10 plannersandcoordinatorsreportingtome.
I am fullycompetentinhandlingall of the multiple facetsof meetingplanning bothdomesticallyand
internationally suchas:venue researchandsite inspection,budgetmanagement, attendee management
and reporting,document/attendeepacketcreationanddistribution,contractnegotiation,staff/team
trainingandmy biggeststrength,buildingandmaintainingclientrelationships.
My yearsinmanagementwere veryfocusedonassistingourbusinessdevelopmentteamtosell our
meetingplanningservices.Including,givingclientpresentations,consultingclientsandourteamon
Pharma Guidelinesandhowtheyare governedorinterpretedindifferentregionsof the world,and
doingall the researchneededof proposedvenuesandlocationstodevelopanaccurate budget. My
othermajor responsibilitiesincludedthe hiringandfiringof the planningteam, yearlystaffevaluations,
teamassignments,trainingonall SOP’s,supportingstaff withcrisismanagementandensuringthe
highestqualityof service toeachandeveryclient. Of all the rolesIplayedinmypositionmyfavorite
were site selectionandcontractnegotiations.
As youwill notice inmyresume Ihave notworked inour industry foroverseven years. WhenMedPoint
dissolvedtheirplanningdepartment,Idecided totake thattime to focuson my family. Ireallywanted
to have anotherbabyand be home for a few yearsand I am so happy thatI have done that. For the past
three years,however,Ihave beenarepfor Stella&Dot. Thishas beenanamazingway forme to keep
up myskillsinclientrelations,stayrelevantwithtechnologyandcontinuemyskillsineventplanning. I
have a newenthusiasmformycareerand I’mexcitedatthe possibilitygettingbackintothe industry
that I lovedsomuch.
