This document discusses Temple University's plan to develop "Critical Paths" academic plans for all undergraduate majors based on the Florida State University model. It involves identifying key milestones and prerequisite courses to map out recommended 8-semester plans. Representatives from each school/college will meet with the coordinator to review curricula, identify milestones, and finalize spreadsheets. Milestones will be coded and integrated into advising systems. The goals are to aid faculty and advisors in curriculum planning and student outreach, and to help students stay on track to graduation. Implications include facilitating scheduling, academic advising interventions, and integrating plans into technology systems.
