This document describes a mobile application called iCommunity that is designed for events. The application allows event participants to access essential event information and services from a single device. It includes sections for the event agenda, speaker profiles, presentations, translation, evaluations, documents, participant lists, contact sharing, note-taking, event feedback, and more. The goal is to provide participants with convenient access to relevant event information and tools to enhance their experience and networking opportunities.

AGENDA
The participants will
be able to easily access
the event agenda with the
application installed on
the tablet, without the
hassle of bulky printed
materials that become
totally unnecessary at
the end of the sessions.
23. SPEAKERS’
PROFILES
The speakers` biographies
are the channels by which
participants can learn more
about them. Completed with
the speaker’s photo, the
section is especially useful
when it comes to guests
from other countries.
25. TRANSLATION
Using the application, the
headphones for simultaneous
translation systems are
replaced with normal
headphones that are
plugged into the tablet.
The simultaneous
translation is done by live
streaming directly from
the cabin.

PRESENTATIONS
EVALUATIONS
Grades will be awarded both
for the presentations’ content
and the speaker. To facilitate
this process, participants will
simply draw a bar to set the
desired score.

This section provides
organizers and clients the

participants different
information, documents,
case studies, brochures etc.
All these information can
be sent by email or they can
be printed on demand.

The publication of the list of
participants and its constant

The right to privacy is an
essential factor for both event
organizers and participants.
The ”contact sharing” system
is a great way to enhance
the networking opportunities,
taking into account the limits
of privacy, as is done with the
consent of the parties involved.

Technology is helpful again
when the participants want to
record something important
during the event. The information
is not lost on a sheet of paper
fallen out of their pocket, but is
sent by email after the event.

EVALUATION
The evaluation of the event is
essential for determining its
success. The application
installed on the tablet includes
a specific section that registers
the participants` answers,
either by introducing
commentsor through a set of
specific questions.

SESSIONS
Using the tablet televoting
system decreases the cost of
implementing a classical
system and increase the
mobility of the participants.
33. LIVE QUESTIONS
SESSIONS
If during a presentation the
participants want to ask a
question, they just press the
“ASK A QUESTION” button and
complete the indicated area.
The questions received will be
displayed on the central screen
in the Q&A sessions.
34. INTERACTIVE
MAPS
The events that take place in a
large area, for more than one
day, require an elaborate
signaling system, which in most
cases does not help the
participants. GPS system to
locate the owner of the tablet
in the event space and the
interactive map will guide the
participants to the point
of interest.

At the end of the event, the client
will receive detailed information
regarding the use of the
application during the sessions.
