Project objective is to develop radically new equipment and technologies for intensification of oil pro-duction and enhanced oil recovery based on present day achievements in ultrasonic and information tech-nologies and render services to oil producing companies through the use thereof.
Advantages of the technology for the consumer: unlimited frequency of application, selective impact on bottom-hole area intervals, possibility to monitor and control the results of bottom-hole area treatment and realization of modern trend of “intelligent well”.

4. The Downhole Acoustic Device (DAD) and Geophysical
Downhole Device (GDD) are run in combination in the
well:
To clean the production zones from formation damage
(fine migrations and scales, asphaltenes & paraffin
deposits) and to reduce the skin factor

The emitters within the DAD are connected by a special
design that provides greater flexibility of the device, so
that it can be spooled onto a drum, similar to the coil
tubing. This stackable configuration can be made up to
50 m of emitters.
The most relevant application of this
configuration is for a deployment in
horizontal wells (e.g. shale oil).
There are about 3,000 wells in North
Dakota (USA) requiring this
treatment.
