Caper and Berry – Chichester, Sussex
The position involved making and serving drinks directly to customers as well as making and
serving drink ticket orders in the brassiere bar, accurately and quickly before food reached the
customer. Producing many attributes such as people skills and developing a rapport with
customers. Maintaining attention to detail, efficiency and speed while also polishing a lot of wine
glasses in a very short time before an interval and finally delegating to and motivating
colleagues when multitasking on the job.

Bar Release – Worthing, West Sussex
Involved taking drink orders from customers over the bar making complex cocktails at
speed with accuracy under pressure of a constant flow of customers, maintaining
confidence towards customers and maintaining a professional attitude behind and in
front of the bar. Whilst upselling deals to ensure the weekly budget was achieved.

October 2016 Slug and Lettuce - Promoting a public and VIP event for grand
opening of ‘Slug and Lettuce’ bar in West Sussex, UK. Filming
special guests, competitions and the bar itself, and editing into final
product.
August 2016 HERO Media – Two day prep and shoot on ‘SMYTHS’ toy advert
as a production assistant, liaising with talent and chaperones to
prepare for transport prior to shoot. Timekeeping and working with
assistant director.
March 2016 BTR Direct – Produced and received payment for three
demonstrational videos, filmed, directed and edited for a bike
accessory company, Chichester, UK.
November 2015 Front Row – Bexhill fashion show, working as a steadicam
operator on stage with the models. Collaborating with
photographers and film crew promoting event.
November 2015 HERO Media – Day celebrity shoot as a production runner
assisting with the new ‘Swisse’ women’s hair, skin and nails
product, showcased with Alicia Dixon.

4. September 2015 HERO Media – Day shoot as an arts runner for a London based
advertising agency, assisting with props on the new ‘SMYTHS’ toy
advert.
July 2014 Bar Release – Outside of University, I produced, shot and edited a
promotional video of the cocktail bar to promote their new “Seven
Deadly Gins” menu and new selection of ales.

July 2015 Employee of the month - Caper and Berry, Chichester
Working as FOH staff at the Chichester Festival Theatre; I was recognized
for my delegation skills, being a hard working member of the team and role
model for new employees.
July 2014 Employee of the month – Bar Release cocktail bar, Worthing
Working as a bartender; acknowledged for my fast learning of all the
cocktails as well as efficient and quick completion of my training.
INTERESTS
Alex Francis Films – Currently developing own business as a freelance cameraman,
expanding on a growing a client base from producing promotional
video content for local businesses to use online.
Drawing – Sketching fictional characters in my spare time from a young age,
to storyboarding characters that I can bring to life through film,
drawing has always been a part of me.
Music – One of the main sources for my creative inspiration, while listening I
visually create a story in my head which changes and flows to each
part of the melody. This presents a potential film narrative to
become a reality.

5. Exercise – A healthy body and mind to reduce stress and keeps my head clear
for new ideas to constantly flow.
Extreme sports – Mountain boarding for the first time when I was fifteen years old
and picked it up really quick, ever since then, the adventurous,
thrill-seeking side of me has found a great interest surfing,
mountain biking and skiing, each sport presenting me with new
challenges and skills to learn from, constantly pushing myself
mentally and physically.
