In every school, the library is the hub of many different activities and is one of the most imperative places in a school for both students and staff.

I created these slides to support a session with academics from Welsh universities at a meeting focussed on flexible learner journeys. I wanted to highlight some recent Jisc resources relating to their theme as they had defined it, and also suggested ways you can keep up to date with new Jisc resources and support on Welsh higher education learning and teaching enhancement themes.

Museums Galleries Scotland has teamed up with Daydream Believers to create Marseum, an out-of-this-world learning resource for schools, museums, and galleries. Delegates will be introduced to this exciting project and discover how their organisations can get involved.
Marseum was developed as part of the MGS Workforce for the Future programme, a Scotland-wide youth employability project delivered in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce. Through Workforce for the Future, Pupils from lower Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) areas work with their local museum or gallery to co-create an exhibition, learn about roles in the sector and develop their employability skills.

Answering a complicated question with the power of Youtube. #PSEWEBSteve Krysak
What does ‘Knowledge Integration’ mean to you? What would you study if you were in a program with that name? Turns out, it can mean a lot of things depending on the students in the program. This makes recruitment a challenge, but also provided an opportunity.
I’ll walk attendees through the video campaign we created to reboot recruitment efforts in an enrolment-troubled program at the University of Waterloo. A case study in a low budget, quick turn around project that made a high impact because of it’s integration into a bigger strategy and a confusing concept boiled down to a simple message.
