To Whom it May Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Alden Sparks. I have had the privilege of
knowing Alden for many years, most of them as her teacher but most recently as a
fellow teacher in Oklahoma. As her teacher, I had the opportunity to work with her in
Bartlesville from her early years as a beginning band student through her graduation. In
seven years, I’ve never experienced such a driven and hardworking individual as Alden.
She always set high goals for herself and did everything possible to attain each of them.
She was very self-motivated, a strong leader and always sought help and advice to
improve herself. As a member of the band, she was always respectful, kind, and
cooperative. She worked hard to be a good, contributing member of the group. Alden
always exhibited a positive attitude, and was easy to work with. It was a pleasure to
have Alden as a student, and even more enjoyable to see her transition into a
professional career, where she continued her devotion to excellence in herself and
others.
After her graduation from the University of Oklahoma in 2013, she gained employment
as a band director in Perry, Oklahoma. Her drive and pursuit of success served her well
in her teaching career there. She has a much focused agenda when it comes to
meeting the needs of those with whom she works and truly cares about reaching each
individual she meets in a positive way. As when she was a student, she continued to
seek the advice of others for the betterment of those whom she touched daily. Her
continued pursuit of knowledge leads me to believe that she will carry on her growth as
an individual and as a professional.
I know that you will be impressed with Alden as a person, leader and citizen. She
exemplifies what I perceive to be an upstanding member of society.
Should you have any further questions regarding Alden Sparks, please feel free to
