To whom it may concern:
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Nicole Vermes for a position within your organization.
I first met Nicole Vermes at the Helzberg School of Management when she was a student in my Business,
Leadership, and Social Issues class. From the moment she stepped into the classroom, Nicole impressed
me with her strong personal desire to succeed but more so with her ability to understand the importance of
being ethical in her academic and personal lives. During that semester, she served as an exceptional role
model for all the students in the class. She was never content with mediocrity, always driven to go further
than she was asked, and not afraid to voice a point of view even when it was not the popular one. As a
result, Nicole finished at the top of the class.
The Transparency International Corruption Perception Index ranks the United States 18th
in terms of
perceived corruption. Whereas, the ranking is both embarrassing and disappointing, I believe that Nicole
will, someday, help change that ranking. She will personally make a difference because, even at a young
age, she understands that positive changes begin and end with ethical leadership. Based on my
experience with corporate leaders, I can personally attest that Nicole will have the power and influence to
make a positive difference in any industry she might choose to work.
Nicole’s warm and embracing personality makes her well- liked among her peers. Her personality,
coupled with her drive and will to succeed, will serve her well personally, academically, and
professionally. It is for these reasons and so many others that I encourage you to strongly consider Nicole
for a position in your organization. Her impact will be immediate.
If you have any questions regarding this recommendation, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
A.C. “Acey” Lampe, Ph.D.
