HEALTH
Definition: Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social
well being.
Physical health
Means that our body works well, without pain or any difficulties.
Mental health
Means that our emotions are not a problema in our daily activities.
Social health
Means having good relationships with the people in our family, at school, or in
our neighbourhood.

PREVENTION
 It refers to doing things that can help to maintain good health or
avoid illnesses.
 It includes healthy habits, doing check-ups regularly, and recieving
vaccinations.
 The paediatrician is the children’s doctor.

HEALTHY HABITS
1. GOOD HYGIENE: means keeping your body clean.
2. SLEEP: children need to sleep 10 hours a day.
3. GOOD POSTURE: you need to keep your back straight.
4. PHYSICAL EXERCISE: it makes you stronger and more
flexible.
5. LEISURE ACTIVITIES: it is important to have time for different
types of activities.
