I have worked on a contract basis, serving as CAD-CON’s only lead electrical engineer in a small 3-
engineer MEP department. Due to my geographical location, I am able to tele-commute 5-days a week
from home, and visit their office on the other days or as required to meet their schedules. I am heavily
involved with most aspects of their business as a design engineer, though I do not always involve myself
in their company management unless asked to do so. The MEP department often has 10 to 15 projects
going on at one time, and we are all involved at some level, be it at the marketing, design, contract
administration or close-out stages. Projects range from 2000sf bank fit-outs to 100,000+sf single or multi-
floor fit-outs. Notable Clients include; The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Scitor, Wells Fargo,
